"This hotel is absolutely lovely! I will definitely return. The room we had was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the bedroom was really nice as well. Access to the Riverwalk was right outside the rear exit of the hotel -- very convenient! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful -- Thurston with the concierge desk especially. We moved to another hotel for the latter part of our trip to San Antonio, but quickly realized that was a huge mistake and wished we had stayed put. The restaurant level provides a very cozy & chill vibe to hang out. 10/10 definitely recommend. "

"The staff at Holiday Inn South Padre Island was warm and friendly. However, the facility needs a serious upgrade, and the floors and bathrooms in the rooms need to be cleaned. The food was excellent- thank you to the cooking staff. My review is, therefore, mixed. "
