"Overall, one of the best Marriott’s I’ve stayed at. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with exceptional service. Ian was so helpful at the front desk. The place is kept immaculately cleaned. And I am a clean freak. Angelique kept our room cleaned, bed made every single day with fresh towels. Absolutely loved this hotel. "

"The hotel was very cute and nicely styled. Both the rooftop bar (excellent Old Fashioned) and the lobby bar were nice and had great bartenders. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however, the thermostat is located in the room foyer directly below the AC vent which causes the AC to cycle 30 seconds on then one minute off, and that got kind of annoying. And there was a problem with our hot water. It was fixed quickly but happened a few times, so another small annoyance. "

"The staff was wonderful. Incredibly nice and very helpful. Everyone at the hotel was always eager to help with anything. They even made dinner suggestions, sightseeing suggestions, breakfast, etc. Always willing to help with my daughter who was in a full cast with a broken leg. The room was clean and comfortable and, amazingly, quiet for being next to all the restaurants and the riverwalk. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Although the construction around the Alamo is ongoing and there was a gas leak to deal with, our stay was still great. The staff were attentive and made things easy around difficult surroundings. The history and bar were an added delight!"
