"Excellent location in Santa Ynez area. The hotel is very high-end traditional design. Our room, located on the main floor, had a wonderful high ceiling, huge bathroom, fireplace, and ample room to stretch out. We loved the room and the main areas of the hotel. We booked through Hotels.com and do not like that the pet fee for some hotels doesn't show up (but it does for some, so not sure if it's a hotel issue or hotels.com?). "The house and property was amazing. Comfortable beds, immaculately clean. Centrally located to restaurants and wineries. Susan stocked the refrigerator with basic food items. That was an unexpected surprise. This is a repeat booking for any occasion. Loved being surrounded by horses, pigs greeting us and of course Smokey the sheep!"

"The country setting and large farmhouse with amazing views was just the stress-free Thanksgiving location we were seeking. It was just two couples but it could easily have held many members of our family. The house was well stocked, but my favorite was the bath size towels. We pampered ourselves by eating out but we could easily h at the house."
