Do not trust the pictures, there was no hot water, there was no Wi-Fi. Listing also failed to mention that the property was at the end of the San Juan International Airport and planes fly out 24/7. Property owner is now in the process of harassing me-

This is a guest house, it's a little apartment on the water. There is all sorts of fishing and a little bar and restaurant ( unbelievable food at half the price of the turest area.). Carlito is a real nice guy. I will be back

Pleasently surprised
This was a amazing find! I originally choose this girl for the ridiculously low price and distance to areas to eat. The hotel is directly on the water with kayaks pulled into a floating dock attached to the house. This is my first review and I had to tell everyone about this gem. The room seems to be a converted efficiency studio with seperate living (sm table, stove, fridge, microwave and sink) closed in bedroom and bathroom) with a huge window looking directly onto the water and a small mangrove. The hotel was quite and peaceful. I was worried about security as a small female traveling alone but i was given keys to the main building and room which both are always locked with dead bolts. The location is tucked back into a far corner of a bad area but worth the trip, it felt like stepping through a portal to an oasis everytime I came home. Private parking. The owner was extremely sweet and helpful. He was always available and accommodating to anything i needed. Private access to a balcony over the water with tables & chairs available to watch the tarpon jump or manta rays swim by or fish and try to catch a tarpon. Remote controlled A/C in the room, dish tv and wifi available. This hotel did not disappoint and I will be returning as soon as possible!

Amazing Bayside building
This is an absolutely amazing place!!! It is not for everyone, but if you love the water and local culture, this is an incredible find that you don't want to miss. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, no doubt about that. If that is ok, then the major advantage is the dock. That's right, the lower level has a dock right on the bay. Open the gate and jump in!! or borrow the kayaks like I did and paddle out to the ocean. My brother and I brought lunches/refreshments and paddled for hours. When we were done, we just paddled right back to the hotel itself. The rest of the place was just average, but this place is about the water and access to the beach! If you use the blender, thank my brother who left it there! (We recommend frozen strawberries and coconut rum smoothies.)

Horrible Experience
Never Again. Dirty. No toilet paper. No coffee maker (broken) and he knew it. Very old appliances. Nasty cooking ware. Only 1 towel for a week. Cockroaches. Please remove this property from your listings. People don't deserve to be treated like that. Terrible neighborhood. Thanks.

Nothing Good
only one bed sheet, no blankets. No cold water in the shower, no toiletries. Frozen fish on the freezer. No water. People shouting and fixing the place starting at 9 am in the morning. This is the most awful stay of my life. Could not recommend this place.

Local Experience
The nautical dream was a nice place to stay, not great but not bad either. It's tucked away in a small town on the edge of the water and is located within walking distance of small shops and local bars. The +'s + Close to the San Juan airport + Small kitchen made cooking possible + Get a true "local" experience + You can see fish from your balcony + Within a few minutes drive to a small non-populated beach + Manager was friendly The -'s - Small place. - Semi-dirty (if you're looking for a resort don't book here) - Planes overhead - No sure if kayaks were available for use. - Parking was rough - You need a rental car if you stay here.

Second story room with porch overlooking mangroves
Room was clean, comfortable and provided the bed that I needed for the night. The free kayak offered provided good exercise as I explored the mangroves. No mosquitoes or flys. Carlos, the host, was very helpful and recommended a local restaurant for dinner. The lagoon is on the east end of the San Juan airport runway so one heard the jets taking off, but the noise was not disturbing or loud. The satellite TV offered limited channels. Ask for a blanket if you sleep with the air conditioning on. Conveniently located within 15 minutes of the airport with easy access. Nautical Dream is at the very west side of Loisa, not in the village itself.

Nautical Misshap
Yes, there were kayaks, no, they weren't weight rated for anyone over 125lbs. Check in was 2.5 hours late, and bathroom was unusable our entire stay due to plumbing issue. No wifi, but decent cable stations. Carlos was nice, but the accommodations left something to be desired. Local food is delicious. Channel is a pretty view.

Nautical nightmare
you have to beg for more than one towel for an 8 day stay. Carlos has zero customer service no hot water no toilet paper no nothing extra ! When you arrive there 15% charge and he says its for taxes but Expedia says it's not so he changes his story ! And remember the barbecue grill will blow up in your face when lit ! The way he talks to you as a customer is completely outrageous ! Oh and do not forget that $25 charge from the airport is non existing cabs are $50 and no cab driver on the island knows where nautical dreams is so you have to pay for another trip back to the airport to rent a car that's 100 bucks gone! my last day I even heard him talking to another client that was coming in he's not providing a service he's just there to collect your money and he told them at 12 o'clock he was just now getting up and he was cleaning that apartment. The island is beautiful just don't stay here !!! I could go on and on about the bugs and just the inconsiderate person Carlos is !!!!!

Worked for what we needed.
This was a great local neighborhood. It looks sketchy but you are staying in a small local village. Travelers will like the place but tourist will not. Locals were pleasant. We never felt unsafe. Food by the roadside was EXCELLENT! The owner doesn't seem to know how to accommodate guests, extra towels, toilet paper, soap etc. You literately need to bring everything if you want to eat at the house. It's like glam-camping. The planes went right over the house which was fun for us. They ended around 10:30pm. SO CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT and San Juan. Take 23 to 187. Take a right on 187 a sharp right (a bit hidden) then take that to KM 5.2, turn at the basketball court and head start school. Easy access. All the restaurants are on that street and beach is there too.

Quaint room w/ grest view
Hotel was very nice, on the water, near the beach. Very close to a lot of little local restaurants serving food and pastries. Carlos was very nice in accommodating our family with 3 kids. Bed was not that comfortable but clean as well as the room. Kayaks were included. Parking could be tricky. For dinner I had to back down the street about 150 yards before I could turn around to go forward because people park everywhere. All in all good stay, would recommend. This is not a hotel room but rather a small 1 bedroom with microwave, stove, and refrigerator

Nice rooms, early jets
This was a duplex. It was very clean and nice inside. They provided dishes. The view off the back porch was pleasant. The neighborhood did not feel safe, particularly when arriving at night. Once inside the rooms I was much less concerned safety as there were locks on the rooms and the gate. There were no signs, so we had to be directed by the owner. There was no hot water, but it is possible we didn't know how to use the point of use heater in the shower. The jets leaving the airport were loud early in the morning. It was a short drive from San Juan.

It was Ok
It was a hard place to find at first but once you get to the highway 187 it's right off it. Its a small little place. Not in the best condition. Microwave didn't work. Only one sheet on the bed. You need to buy your own bathroom necessities none provided. No wifi. Rough parking. The pros are it felt private, near a nice lake and beach, great near by restaurants, and the people that live in the cando complex were nice people. Not worth my 85 bucks.
