"Not sure what the negative comments were all about, the resort is nice. Has some age showing but its not obvious. Front desk young lady at checkin was super! Helped with all kinds of things, very friendly . Our 5th floor "cheap" room in the Wave Building with balcony is quite nice. Still can see ocean beyond a roof below. We did not eat at the hotel restaraunts or buy drinks. Average food entres are 25 to 40 bucks. There is a great local bar/eatery across the street with a good assortment menu i'd recommend. Its very casual with outdoor seating Pools are well maintained and the manmade beach/cove secludes you from the waves and wind. There is no airport or cruise shuttle. Uber is very reasonable or a taxi. Taxi from airport was 30 with tip. Uber is definitely cheaper. Overall its a 4 out of 5 "

"When you walk in you are greeted with a warm woodsy scent that lingers throughout the hotel. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or family member visiting Puerto Rico "
