"The front desk clerk went out of his way to put us in a room as far from the cacophony of noise from the hotel strikers across the street. It was one of the smaller rooms, but very little noise could be heard. This is one of our favorite boutique hotels in San Francisco. It is located near the Powell Street station, Union Square, the Moscone Center and numerous dining options."

"The hotel was fine, handy to Union square, cable car and shops. Room was dark and window exterior really grubby. Lifts were slow and can slither down stairs if happy to do so, but not well lit at all. Protestors for Marriott and Westin I know were outside hotels control but were on both opp corners to us and with single glazed windows, we were awake at 6am with drums and chanting all day - been ongoing we hear for months. "
