"I really enjoyed my stay at the Congress Plaza Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, helping me figure out what I wanted to do and eat in the city. The hotel is centered in the middle of the city and is within walking distance of various shops and restaurants. The hotel is also a convention center, and a variety of different events were held during my stay to which we were invited. For those planning to drive, the hotel does not have free parking for their guest; you will have to pay for parking. "

"My husband and I took the Amtrak train to Chicago to visit the Art Institute. On arrival we were greeted by a kind young gentleman who let us check our bags before our check in time so that we could go have breakfast in the attached pub. The Elephant and Castle pub is attached to the hotel and serves food and drink on Sunday from 7 am to 2 am. Our room was lovely. It was fresh, clean and very comfortable. The staff is kind and professional. The location is perfect as it is a centrally located. Union Station and the L train are a short walk away. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

"Needed a place to stay when my flight was canceled. The Hyatt was easy to get to with their free shuttle. Check in was quick and the bar was open for a nice meal. Comfortable bed and very clean - was everything I needed it to be."
