We chose this property due to location and reviews. We were surprised to find this place to be in such poor condition. My #1 complaint that turned me away from ever returning is the noise. It’s great you can’t hear outside noise, but you can hear EVERYTHING in the halls. From 1 am to 4 am, the drunk crowd is wild. They were banging on doors, screaming, fighting, you name it. I was appalled. I did call and they did send someone up. However, 1 am to 4 am nothing changed. We also received a phone call at 1 am from the rooms phone. How odd.. we were also woken up by housekeeping at 8 am. If you plan on sleeping, skip this hotel. It gets worse! We found hair in the bathroom, bedsheets, and on baby’s crib. The water goes from scorching hot to freezing. It was very odd. Luckily, we didn’t need to shower, I just had to wash baby bottles. My milk went bad because the cooler doesn’t cool below 45 degrees. As a breast feeding mama, it was painful to throw away milk. The crib doesn’t come with a fitted sheet. They just wrapped it in a large one. It’s not exactly safe, but we were thankful they had a crib. That was a positive for us. We also have to say we enjoyed our small chats with staff. They were all super kind and pleasant to converse with. Seeing as a hotel is a place to sleep, this place will not make the cut again. We thank the staff and hope they have a great holiday!

“I recently stayed at Aloft Chicago Magnificent Mile for four nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from great dining options, shopping, and the scenic riverwalk. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff went above and beyond, especially Diamond, who was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean but no closets and the bathroom was also well-maintained but the shower stall was pretty small too. Housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping everything tidy each day. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location, friendly service, and good value, I highly recommend Aloft at Magnificent Mile!

I loved the location of this hotel. It was near the Navy Pier and walkable to many dining and bar options. Close enough to the Loop trains and the river walk. I felt no issue with safety walking around at night on the weekend. The rooms were clean & comfortable. I am used to city sounds so being on the 5th floor where I could here some street noise and trucks was not an issue for me.
