"Villa Confresi is a great place to stay in Rincon. The downside for us: the door to our room (#108) faced the bar/restaurant area—tables literally 20 feet away from our bed—there was loud music and conversation until 11:00 pm each night. This was extremely annoying and was mitigated only by the sound of surf. If you decide to stay there, request a room at a distance from the central bar/restaurant area! "

"Note: this property has changed names (bought by Abbita next door) so it was difficult to find. It was also under construction and the El Canario building was quite empty, though the Abbita building is cute & lively with great amenities that you can use (a nice outdoor hot tub, pool, and indoor fitness center). The service I got from the front desk staff was excellent - they were super accommodating and apologetic about the condition of the construction. The room itself was modern and cozy with...

"Our first time in PR and we needed a hotel near the airport for the first night. This place more than foot the bill! If we were staying in San Juan for longer than a night I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here long term. Locally owned instead of big time corporate accommodations. Affordable, safe, clean and every staff member greeted us with a smile and hello! I highly recommend Hotel Del Sol for local flair and a good night rest. "We had a lovely stay! The customer service team was outstanding; always courteous and friendly. The breakfast was good with hot choices. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available 24 hours. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pool was not as big as the photos led you to believe, but it didn’t matter because we were the only ones in it. The hot tub was also nice. We will definitely come back! "
