"All around it was a good experience I like the resort the staff was friendly and kind. Shout out to Carlos in the breakfast section my server the food was always good despite the reviews. Nicholas clean my room every day but most time he didn’t leave enough towels but the room looks clean . Note for housekeeping the showers need to be scrubbed especially in the grout and the weave my was dirty room 9203. Not a bad experience will stay again. "

"All the staff was great, very attentive and respectful, and always greeted with a smile. Dealing with no hot water for the first half of our trip was frustrating especially coming from the airport and wanting to have a nice warm bath. "Velas is a neat little condo, conveniently located close to downtown and right on the beach. The manager, Alba is friendly and helpful. She welcomed us to use the bikes and asked if we needed help with them in any way. We opted to not have housekeeping service during our stay, and Alba assured that we always had any house keeping conveniences such as fresh towels, soap, and toilet paper. She is an excellent host and we will stay there again. "
