"I stayed in a private room and it suit me well. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was a little rustic, but the hot water worked just fine. I worked remotely for a bit and the wifi worked great with no issues. The rooftop was a nice touch to spend some time on, and the location was perfect, just around the corner from the waterfront. "

"The staff is friendly and helpful, they even helped me book a tour last minute. The property is close to shopping centers and the main street where you can find restaurants, bars, pharmacies, etc. "

"we just stayed for one night at the Hostel in a bunk room that had a private bathroom and 3 beds, perfect for 3. It was a fabulous location, 1/2 block from the beach, 2 blocks from the ferry station and a block from the ado bus station - which is what we needed for an early airport departure. Easy check in and check out, friendly staff. Overall, given the proximity to the main promenade and nearby bars, it was actually quieter than I expected, too - though we kept the fan on all night that...

"Close to everything! Expedia was a bit confusing with the receipt saying the room was already paid for... It wasn't. Not a big deal, and definitely not Wabi Hostel's fault. "We stayed at this resort for 3 nights. The stay was excellent , with easy acess to the beach, lot of dining options and nice bars. The beach itself was not great though. The pools are awesome . Another thing we missed were options for snacks and coffee. There were multiple bars but only one starbucks on the property, which is not inclusive. I loved it overall and would still go there again. "

"Great staff! They were helpful and kept the property and rooms extremely clean. While this is ocean front property the beach is very small and not really swimable. I would not stay here with kids. But it was great for a couple just wanting to relax on the beach. The location is great. Dozens of dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe."

"Lovely aesthetic hotel, located a 5 min walk from Cancun airport. We rushed to book here after a last minute transfer cancellation late in the evening and weren’t expecting anything special due to the late booking, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is really stunning to look at with an indoor / outdoor vibe, a great gym and 360 pool. We managed to get sole Margaritas from the pool bar before close and they were delicious. We also opted for the breakfast in the morning which had a great selection, even a fresh omelette choice. Would definitely recommend! "

"This is the way place for families, the pool kept them entertained all day long! The staff were extremely friendly, there are different buffets and restaurants. I do wish that they had a policy for the pool chairs, people will put towels on them and leave almost all day and not use them. Overall we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back! "

"The resort is located at Playa De Carmen which is far away from Cancun but close to Xcaret. The food was good. All staffs are friendly. We booked swim out room and is at the opposite of the pool. The pool was clean and quiet. "

Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort

"I stayed at Ventus Ha and was positively surprised. Big plus was that you could enjoy checking other 2 locations which were walkable. Lots of food, good service. This was important knowing Ventus Ha is more oriented towards adults but by going to Marina area where they had more of kids orientated pool helped a lot. In general you can spend good time there no matter if you want silent spot or more fun activities. Bear in mind the beach is little made up, this is not DR, most of that Mexico area has poor beaches so keep that in mind if it is important for you"
