"We loved our stay!! The location was perfect, we didn’t want to be right in the hustle and bustle but wanted to be driving distance. The beaches were so great, the tide pools amazing, pool was perfect and we sat on the veranda facing the ocean every morning and every evening. The security guards were so smiley and nice!! "This house and the Playa Negra area were perfect for our multi-gen family (kids 10-17 and adults 50-80). The house is a stunning contemporary with comfortable gathering areas both inside and out. The ocean views and sunsets were amazing. Surfing on both Playa Negra snd Playa Avellanas was good for our beginner surfers, an excellent zipline park was just 20 munutes away, and the local restaurants provided lots of variety, quality and a fun, casual vibe. This house HIGHLY recommended!"

"We have had the privilege to travel to a lot of fun vacation spots and stay in some nice houses, but Castillo Del Mar blows the rest away! Our first trip to Costa Rica could not have been better. Family of five with three teenagers.It didn't seem possible but the property truly is better than advertised. "The View was Great. The infinity pool was exquisite. The house itself was just as represented or better. The hotel beach restaurant just short walk from property was a really neat amenity to enjoy. Tho the beach is more of a surf than swim spot, it was entirely possible to spend time playing in the shallows!"

You need a car to drive less than 5 minutes to get to amazing food and coffee too. Lots of space for a group of family and/or friends. "
