"The staff in the restaurants were excellent. The beach is excellent. It is clean and the waves could be gentle. The pool is clean and large enough for lap swimming."

"I was told a bottle of wine would be brought to the room but never came even after a reminder. Our TV remote did not work. Once that problem was solved they told us the TV was only in Spanish. Overall we enjoyed the hotel. A great pool, fun happy hour, beautiful view and a shuttle bus to Tamarindo that was very convenient. "

"A beautiful oasis close to all the action of Tam. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were extra clean, patio with hammock was heaven. Pool area was quiet but allowed for chats with other guests. Would definitely recommend and will stay again."

"We got an upstairs unit with mini-kitchen and fridge. It was nice to be above the bottom floor pool level since the lower floor rooms' patio opens right up to the pool area. Hotel is conveniently located. All the tour group buses pickup/dropoff conveniently from this hotel. Unfortunately, the front gate to the driveway is always closed so you have to manually push the large gate open/close every time you come in out of the property. Hard to do if you are elderly in age. "

"Property is on the beach but the rooms do not have ocean views, nice area to sit outside but back of property has road noise and noise from var across the street at night."
