"Room was very comfortable and a decent size for a standard double room. Plenty of wardrobe space with a safe for valuables. Bath with shower over was nice and hot. Restaurant for eving meal and breakfast was very nice. Room was very hot at breakfast time but a nice temperature for evening meal. Service was good."

"Beautiful venue, lovely location. Great selection of drinks and food menu was good. Breakfast was very nice indeed. However, the venue had a wedding on the night of my stay and I would have appreciated a) being told this was the case and b) not being put in a room directly above the room that the party was in. Terrible nights sleep and I’m puzzled why when allocating rooms you would place people in that room."

We booked the Cairn Hotel but our accommodation was in the Carlton Hotel over the road from the Cairn Hotel. "Change of owner not communicated prior to stay, nor how to check in. I had to phone several numbers to find this out.Room very small, we never saw any other guests (were we tho only ones). Coffee and tea provided but no milk and no refresh of supplies during our stay. No housekeeping. Tiny room, basic bathroom. On the plus side when I did get through to the number full details on check in were provided and the 2 staff members who were there that day were helpful."
