It has a prime location by the sea and it's easy to get out to Durham, Newcastle or the surrounding area. The beach is just a short walk away, and has some lovely coffee spots and restaurants on it. "The staff in hotel went above and beyond they were so helpful and pleasant breakfast was good too. The only downside was the cleaning off the room we had to go down to reception to organise clean towels there was dust in parts of room so they are not being cleaned properly yet the corridors had staff with trolleys all day so no excuse for no room cleaning but the hotel staff made up for that they always had a smile for you "

"Easy Check in unlike Premier Inn who are awful. Room pretty much standard for this type of hotel. Bed was clean when I checked the mattress so no need to get the dust mite spray out. Bathroom was nice and when I pulled the shower handle towards me got the shower to good temp first time. TV good but no BBC Red button services. I always like to look at the news and sports results last thing at night and in a morning. Lifts work well no need to use door card to get them to work. Breakfast. good all...
