Wonderful customer service and staff attention to details. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem to the staff during my stay and everyone was very polite. Would highly recommend Double Tree at Newcastle Airport.

Great location for the airport, less than 5 minute walk. Small smoking are outside, good bar and excellent restaurant. One of the most weird bathtub showers that I’ve encountered. Glass door opens in so you can’t reach the overly complicated faucet and drain system without getting in and getting sprayed with freezing and/or very hot water! Almost gave up but managed a Luke warm shower with a pretty full cold tub.

Issues with a noisy heating/cooling system so did not sleep . After 3 hours of tossing and turning we just got up and left the hotel only to be told by the night porter I could have sorted your issue ..bit late now ! Shame you didn’t do that when we first reported it . Certainly not to Hilton brand standards !

Well situated for early morning flights, this hotel is clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Bedroom very comfortable and well laid out. Bar area was very crowded and seemed small for the size of the hotel, people were spilling out. Main issue was that I organised an early morning call, which never arrived. Luckily I was awake on time due to my back up mobile phone alarm. I’d definitely stay again, but will take a new travel alarm, backed up by my phone!

You book an airport hotel for quick, convenient proximity to the airport, which in terms of location has some down sides along with the big obvious bonus. The room was fine - comfortable and surprisingly peaceful - exactly as we had hoped. Decent bathroom and shower. That part of our stay was good. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed and expensive and the food disappointing. By far, the dearest and worst meal of our holiday! So, that part of our stay was poor!
