This was the perfect place in NY! We stayed in a one bed/private bath and housekeeping did come each day for trash and made the bed. It had a nice shower and hot water. It is so close to everything in NY, right off the 96th street station on the 1, 2, 3 lines. And the hostel and area was very safe.

This place was horrible. Bed sheets dirty towels stained SHARED bathroom was not fit for animals it was so disgusting. There was also a sign after we checked in that the City banned multiple rooms for being unsafe to habitat so makes me wonder about the room I was in. Did not take a shower during my stay due to bathroom being so discussing. Also had to have the heater in the room repaired multiple times to actually start working. Maintenance never knocked, they just walked in like we were not even in the room. This place should be removed for future customers to not use.

Worst hotel ever.
Please don’t ever step a foot inside here. I tried to get a refund after the pictures on their yelp account did not match what I saw in person and they denied it. Worst customer service ever. They definitely don’t put their customers first...they’re just finessing. Please don’t get finessed and stay here.

Location is GREAT!! Room is cute!! I did see one cockroach crawl up the wall as soon as we walked in the room but then nothing again after that. There is no free parking and the cheapest they offer in the area is a "discounted" $35 for 24 hours.... a parking ticket costs the same so park wherever you want. There is no microwave/fridge in the room. There isn't a phone in the room either. The room is soooooo HOT so bring a fan... NOT joking. The widows do open to offer some relief as well. The elevator is extremely shady... I really thought I was going to die when we got there and took our bags up. I refused to use it for the rest of the time and instead climbed 7 flights of stairs because I was so afraid of it. The "partial" notice to vacate is also a little off putting. Especially since my room was literally one door down the hall from a "vacated room". Overall, really not a bad hotel but has the very VERY bare minimum.

I’ll give this place 1 star for it’s convenient location. 1 block from the subway and a few stops away from times square & all the sight seeing. Firstly, upon walking in i noticed that there was a sign condemning a few of the rooms in the building as unsafe & un-liveable. the beds are uncomfortable, small and very loud. you can’t change sleeping positions without it creaking. We booked a double room for our stay which was suppose to include 1 bed however when we checked in we received two. the beds looked pretty shabby and upon pulling the sheet off one of them it appeared that the comforter had stains that looked like they were from blood. there is very bad wifi, the small mounted TV plays about 7 channels, there was a space heater which we desperately needed to use however the outlet was too far so the heat didn’t even get to our bed. The photos are VERY misleading. There’s No breakfast, no parking, and overall, this place gave me an uneasy feeling. Glad we only spent a night. We will definitely not be returning.
