"Perfect getaway for us, This is our 3rd time staying at the Holbrooke. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, The woman who checked us in was so sweet she gave us free drink at the bar for waiting a few minutes to check in. Room was in adjacent building which was totally cute. Bed was comfy and bedding crisp and cozy. Hotel is always perfectly maintained. They’re currently setting up downstairs bar for Christmas. We had the most fun ever there last year. We will come back before Christmas. "

"Welcome was friendly and efficient. Hotel was very clean, modern and new (3 years old). Double Queen room was large - really still wondering if it was two kings? Breakfast was average hotel fare, but plentiful and efficient. Liked the pictures and decorations - they weren’t all abstract geometric shapes but forest type decor. "

"The pictures almost don’t do it justice! A very cool construction with three domes (each absorbs its own sound) with a very spacious, open kitchen-living room area perfect for gatherings. We were there to celebrate Friendsgiving ( college friends celebrating 16+ years of this get together and 20 years of friendship). Now there are a lot of kids in the mix. We stayed in November. House would be even better in the summer when the pool would be more appealing, but we had a great time enjoying the amazing view and using the sun porch for kid entertainment. The kitchen has most things needed to prepare a large meal, though there were a few things like a large serving platter, baster, non-stick pans, etc. it did not have. Tons of silverware though! Enough for 25 ppl. Glassware was lacking… The beds were pretty comfy! Most vacation rentals have horrible beds. All of us agreed the beds were the best we’d experienced at a VRBO. The bathtub in the Master bathroom did have a weird rust-splattered drip situation… but we didn’t need the tub for anything, so I wasn’t too worried about it. The shower was awesome! Kids toys (as advertised) were few - especially for smaller children. There were a lot of 1,000-piece puzzles and card games. Not much for those 2-10. That said, plenty of room to run outside and use the swings and the cool swing on the sun porch. The host on-site was very nice and patient. She was cool about all of the little kids running around. Wifi is needed for service."
