"My family of 5 booked this condo over the winter so that we had easy access to ski Sugarbowl. It's about a 10-15 min easy drive away from Sugarbowl. It's located in a Donnor Lake condo complex. The unit itself was very clean, beautiful views (lakeside!). There's a porch that overlooks the water - nice to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. "We had a great time. The condo was very nice. The only issue we had was finding the condo unit. The layout is not intuitive and it took some time to locate it. We called the number provided and they were very helpful though. I would recommend a map be provided. Other than that we had a great time and would definitely go back!"

"Stayed over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate the 94th birthday of my mom who lives in a nearby senior living facility. This location was perfect for driving into Grass Valley (a tad too far and hilly for a comfy walk from town). The apartment was spacious with a nice, small kitchen and wonderful views of the pine lined mountains in the distance. A great rate and comfy get away."

"This cozy condo is aptly named. Deirdre thought of everything guests would need to be comfortable. There is no guesswork with booking, arriving, staying and departing. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, clothing and book stores no more than a 5-minute walk. Our first full day in Grass Valley it poured rain. Typically this is not what I’d want on a short getaway, but because of the coziness of the condo, it was a relaxing day and I’ll go back to this place often."

We decided to all share the upstairs bedroom which was very comfortable. Winter Warning: be prepared to shovel yourself in and out during snowstorms and watch snow and icefall from roof. If you want easy access to skiing and are comfortable with deep snow conditions however, this is a gem."
