"Frim the moment we arrived this hotel did not disappointed our expectations. The staff were professional, welcoming and extremely helpful - they could not do enough for us to help ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We were a large family group, 3 rooms, travelling with a baby as well as an older grandparent. Staff went out of their way to help us even washing the babies clothes when she had been sick! They made us feel at home and very welcome which made us very relaxed throughout our stay. The hotel itself is freshly decorated, spotlessly clean and has many social areas around the bar area that we could sit and enjoy our time together. Bar staff were friendly and offered a good selection of drinks for the grown ups. Kids menu offers good value to feed lots of children! The pool was fab fluffy white towels provided and a hot jacuzzi and sauna to top it off. We enjoyed a relaxed breakfast with a wide choice and selection of hot/cold tasty food. The chef even came out and offered our little dog a treat for his breakfast (so kind and thoughtful.) I genuinely can not find any area for improvement for the hotel or that could have bern better with our stay. We will be using this hotel every year for our family catch up. "All good except when serving food in the bar it would be good idea to take the cutlery and sauces to the customer before the food is ready! Sat there watching my food go cold waiting for cutlery does not make sense!! "

"Just perfect for us. Impressive grand staircase and a beautiful display of gorgeous smelling flowers were the first things to hit the senses. We came into contact with 2 members of the reception staff who were so friendly and seemed genuinely interested in us as a family group. We were there with my elderly parents who were equally impressed with the staff helpfulness. The 2 barmen were also pleasant and friendly. We were attracted to the hotel as it was city centre with its own parking. Room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. We’d intended using the pool/gym but we didn’t get around to it as there was so much to do out and about. I can 100% recommend this hotel."

"Reception staff were friendly and professional. The room (230) was lovely and clean. Lunch in the bar was excellent and once again the staff were friendly. Breakfast was just as pleasant. My only moan is that I dont think residents should have to pay for parking. 9/10 thanks."

"The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay. Thank you to all the team"

"This was a lovely hotel, with helpful and welcoming staff. We arrived a little late as the satnav ran out of charge, and the hotel was not well signposted, even though we stopped twice for directions. It was about 2040 when we arrived and restaurant service stopped at 2100, but reception rang through to say we were on our way and we enjoyed an excellent meal, most welcome after another 4 hour drive south down the M6 and M5 in heavy traffic. Room was reasonably spacious and adequate, lighting, TV, coffee etc, but best of all was the pool... best sized one I have seen in hotels, lovely steam room, sauna, and a jacuzzi over a bridge, giving extra round swim route. Staff in the spa very helpful. This hotel is not too far away from our home, less than 2 hours, and we will certainly go back there, using it as a base to explore the Cotswolds and the lovely towns nearby. The contrast to the one we stayed in going north, for about the same price, was really marked. "
