"Lovely building. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in the restaurant. Good facilities. My only issue is that the layout of the building means you may have to walk a long way to your room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, if a little bit basic. Outside the building is mostly a golf course, would have been nice if there was somewhere to have a pleasant walk if you don't want to golf "

"The property was in a great area just opposite train station very nice Hotel staff very friendly. Only 1 complaint it only gad a coffee machine and espressos cups very clean bedding and towels. Hotel had a bar area and was open late plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Would definitely stay here again "

"Lovely hotel but the cleanest"

"We booked two rooms for one night. Both rooms had large beds, good facilities and were clean. Breakfast was lovely with the usual full English and continental available. The only problem was as it was a Saturday night one of the rooms had a problem with noise from the street of revellers. Very friendly staff and the refurbishment is not a problem."

"Second time saying at The Queens Hotel and a lovely experience as usual. The staff is incredible and the hotel is fabulous. Can’t ask for more central location than right next to the train station. Modern facilities and spotless. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about The Queens. "

"Overall very happy with our stay. Only some attention to detail issues. Our room was not ready on arrival. We didn't wait long but it wasn't as if we arrived early. Also we were offered drinks while waiting which I later found out we were charged for. Our tea and coffee was not replenished after the first night."
