"One of the best motels I’ve stayed at while visiting San Diego! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making check-in a breeze. The rooms appeared to be recently remodeled. "We arrived 10 mins before check in and was told expedia overbooked our room, double king suite, so we didn't get the room we booked. We didn't check in until about 3:20. The staff was accomodating and put us in 2 rooms side by side, a little inconvient for us logistically, but it was okay.
