"Casa Frida is a quick walk from the ferry terminal, and easy to find. The suite is basic, but very clean. The hot water in the shower works well, and the bed was comfortable. In terms of location, it is a few blocks from the downtown area, so lots of restaurants and shops within quick walking distance, but you are not staying right in the noisy area. "Pictures look better than the actual place. Location was great! But the noise situation was out of hand. Too loud in the morning -we were right next to reception and the music playing in the morning at 7:30 am was unnecessary. I’m Not sure what happened, but we all left with bug bites- either Bed bugs or spiders… "

"Lovely place, really great value - best of both, you’re right in the town so can enjoy the shops and cheaper restaurants but the option to spend the whole day at the beach club after your (excellent!) breakfast, and the beach club is right at the most beautiful part of the island. We loved it! Only slight improvement would be bedside lights in the room or a slightly less harsh overhead light as it made the concrete feel a bit prison like at times. "Zomay was a lovely place to stay, the staff was super accommodating and helpful, they had affordable tours and transfers. We did go in rainy season which I would not recommend because the town does not have the infrastructure and gets flooded which makes it hard to enjoy. But Zomay was super helpful in navigating the rain and even offered us free drinks to apologize for it which they can’t control the weather lol ! "
