"I would absolutely go back to this island & resort! Unfortunately it rained which was a muddy mess BUT had that not happened might of been one of the coolest places I’ve visited. Beach is beautiful, little pool outside your in (kinda cold not heated) easy walk to mini mart, food, beach bars & town. "The live music is loud until midnight every night. The ECO TAX, which cost almost 300 USD, was unexpected and felt like a scam. The hotel MRG explained to me that we have to pay the tax. I didn't want to check out and find another place. I'm not going back to the Arena. "

"This is a great hotel. It is closer to the sea than any other hotel so the beach views and experiences are superb. The grounds are kept extremely clean and the sand is swept and any beach debris is removed daily. The staff is very friendly and helpful in organizing trips and taxis. The bar and restaurant have very good food and drinks with reasonable prices. Our room was clean, well furnished and had a great ocean view. We will stay here again when we return to Holbox"
