"This was a great 2 week stay in the first part of my solo travel. Being located near Ikebukuro Station made it super easy and convenient to make a base of travel to other locations within Tokyo. There's lots of shopping nearby and food to eat as well. There's large department stores, a Don Quijote just behind, and plenty of local groceries and bakeries as well. "Hostel was short distance to walk to train station. To walk to so many choices a food. Lots of things to look at while walking around. Perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Even on last day after checking out. The young guy helped me put my sim card. Forever grateful 🙏 Thank You. Only Down fall is too close to common area could hear people talking on there phone most nights very late. Also the sinks are right there also. Away from bathrooms and next to common areas. "Great location just 10 min walk from c6 exit at ikebukuro station on the west side. West side is quieter than east side which is great for accommodation. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There is a coin laundry around the corner open 24 hours which is convenient. We stayed in a twin bed room and it was one of the largest rooms I've stayed in a hotel in japan. I would stay here again."

"Chose to stay in Ikebukuro for once instead of the usual hotspots like Shinjuku and Shibuya. Great location right next to escalators leading to the train station, options to eat nearby and decent sized room with space to actually open our suitcases, unlike other shoebox sized hotels in Japan where we've struggled to do barely that. Also had an extra suitcase delivered via courier on our second day which they were more than happy to accept and advise us it had arrived when we came back to our...

"The area is good except late at night, you will get approached by girls holding signs or guys with earpieces. The staff is very strict about enforcing hotel rules. The room is very good and has everything you need."

"This might have been one of my best hotel stays of all time. I've stayed in club level at the best hotels in the United States and none of them come close to the level of service we received at this hotel. Arrival from the cab was simple and easy. I had not touched my bags from getting out until i was unpacking. We had to wair for our room for a few hours so they recommended some activities for us to do in the meantime. The stay was to celebrate a surprise engagement. I wanted to grab a slice of cake to celebrate the occasion so i asked for recommendations. The club concierge asked what i imagine is a couple of other people for recs and they gave an amazing recommendation and offered to call me a cab to get there and back. The club lounge was always welcoming and well staffed. The drinks were great that you made yourself and the company was always pleasant. It did start to get loud around 8pm but never rowdy. The view from the lounge and our room were phenomenal. The lounge faced Tokyo Tower and our room faced Mount Fuji. The icing on the cake was when we were checking out, we planned to go to Kyoto for a few days. They offered to keep our luggage at the property free of charge until we got back to tokyo. When we did return, it was almost like we never checked out and again our luggage went from bell services to our cab. Would always recommend as it is more than worth the price!"

"Overall, the Keio plaza is an excellent hotel located in the heart of Shinjuku. It is a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station, and there’s lots to explore in the neighbourhood. The service and facilities here were excellent, and the rooms were well equipped, modern, and clean."
