"Fabulous! The best NYC hotel stay I have had in years. Staff is amazing - welcoming & helpful. Very comfortable room & quiet (no street noise, no hotel noise), and so clean. Bathroom shower was phenomenal, plus fresh towels daily. Discount given at garage across the street for hotel guests, and here too they were very accommodating. Many restaurants within an easy walk. This is a hidden gem. Do not hesitate to book. "

"Everything was fine except breakfast. The breakfast room is small and crowded, people getting in each others’ way and waiting to use the toaster, only two slots of which worked. The staff was friendly and efficient. "

Great little hotel and location

"My cousin and I have been staying at the St.James every year for the past 12 years. The location is ideal, the front desk people are friendly and always recognize us even though we only come once a year and the rooms are good size. We love it."
