"Location, location, location -- that and free breakfasts! The only problem, which was minor, was that the bathroom sink's faucet leaked a little. Other than that, we were able to walk to the Art Institute of Chicago and found some nice, if pricey, restaurants in the area."

"Nice location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff was really nice. Espresso machine in the room so that was nice. Older hotel so as long as you are ok with small Space and older looking rooms, you’re in a good spot. I think there are some nice touches for being an older property. Elevator is slow though so be patient or take 7 flights of stairs like I did . :)"

"The best part of the stay was the staff at the bar Saturday evening and the breakfast on Tuesday. They were both very friendly and attentive. The worst part of our stay was the smell in our room. I think a previous group had cooked in our room. The smell hung around for our entire stay."

"There was a lot of erratic individuals outside the building that would walk to the front doors and harass us as we were leaving. Next, I would have liked a hot tub and pool. Finally, most hotels include a breakfast with the hotel stay, but if I wanted to get the breakfast here I would have to pay. "

"The lingering problem about the hotel is not being able to control the temperature in the room. We tried to cool down the room, but was not successful. This problem would definitely make me hesitate to stay at this hotel again considering we visit Chicago a few times a year. We mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and was told that due to the changing of the seasons, the AC/heat can not adjust to our needs at this time. "
