"The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable, clean and very big, for some reason we didn’t have a Nespresso machine but our son’s room did despite the rooms being the same. The swimming pool was lovely but the water heater had broken down so we didn’t get much use out of it but the sauna and steam room were much appreciated- really enjoyed it. The exterior is beautiful - helped by the peacocks around every corner. We are looking forward to returning to Pendley Manor. "

"We had some small issues when checking in our room was not ready but chris on check in was brilliant, he delt with the problem excellently and keep us updated he was due to finish his shift but stayrd till we had been told the room was ready A very professional and valuable member of staff "

"I've found my stay at the hotel pleasant. The receptionist was courteous. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I will be happy to be back at the hotel should I need to come back to Stevenage. "

"Terrible nights stay. The door of the club room had a gap of about 1 inch at the bottom and any corridor noise was heard even with towels blocking the gap. Female occupants of the room opposite were rowdy, loud and had lots of “gentlemen callers” all through the night. The night staff were informed 3 times but no action was taken. They had plenty of opportunity as the “ladies” went outside for smokes every hour and banged the door on exit and entry. I know it’s hard to control bad behavior but I felt very let down that no attempt was made by staff to talk to the “ladies” when they were in there room. Seemed like everyone on our floor apart from the “ladies” were at Starbucks when it opened all complaining about the lack of sleep and staff inaction. "
