We are appalled however at the state of the room that was given to us when we arrived on Saturday evening. - There was a used condom wrapper on the shelf next to the spare pillows. - The bedsheets had make up stains on it and hairs in the bed clothes. - The bathroom was full of stains. (Please find images attached) We received a new room for our trouble, but felt deeply unsettled about the quality of cleanliness for this building. The Best Western franchise guarantees cleanliness as part of its promise. This was not upheld at all. This is unacceptable and we will be expecting some sort of compensation as soon as possible.

Rooms were very good with great beds etc the 1 thing that put us back was the £50 per room deposit (as business travellers we had 2 separate rooms making it £100 they put on hold from your bank) you do get the money back after on average a week and I would stay here again if working in the area

They let us check in an hour early, which was really nice. Room was a good size and bathroom was really big. Room was clean. Hotel is in close walking distance to a ton of restaurants and stores!! You can walk from train station, but there is a section which was more rough when pulling a suitcase. Good stay near Harry Potter Studios- we took a cab- cost $16.

This would have been a perfect stay were it not for a group of very loud Irish drunk partygoers, making a lot of noise still at 2 am, shouting to each other along the bedroom corridors. I cannot fault the staff. They were extremely courteous and professional.

My honest review is; Avoid scammer hotels
The room was uninviting and sad. The staff just don’t care. The hotel also ask for a bond of an extra £50 for each room, so if you are planning on staying at this hotel, make sure you have a £50 which if you’re lucky you will get it back after THREE (3) WEEKS. If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel. There are so many other budget friendly hotels in Watford.
