"It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. "

"I had a lovely one night stay. The bath and shower were fabulous and the bed / room was very comfortable with everything I needed. All staff were wonderful. The gym access was also a nice treat. Would stay again. Thank you "

"This place is not ready for the public yet, the room is very dated, the windows are very old and damaged, the carpet was disgusting, the bed sheets were not changed from the previous visit. The shower was not comfortable either. The gym was good, and the staff seemed friendly, but the hotel needs a major uplift to justify the room rates they are charging"
