"The man who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. Thr kettle didn't work or the room phone . I popped to reception and thr same young man sorted a new kettle. Extra milks. Breakfast was excellent Thank you for a lovely stay "

"We had stayed there before, when we arrived the heating in our room didn’t work but the lovely receptionist sorted us out with a fan heater for the second night. Bit disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned at all for our 2nd night ( just emptying the bins would have been nice!) Another area for improvement would be to fix the massive potholes at the entrance of the car park… but the location is great and the staff are really lovely!"

"Overall the weekend was lovely. The staff are what made it. The main seating area is beautiful but can be draughty. The glass doors at the front door don’t really work and let a lot of cold in. The dining area is a bit of a disappointment atmosphere wise. The lighting too bright, the chairs are awful. It should be more like the red seating area which seemed to be kept for private functions. There’s a huge stove which was barely flickering, the music was also terrible. A lot of simple changes...

"A charming, well-run hotel in a peacfeul setting. My room was impressively large, a very big bed and was immaculately clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was a full variety and delicious."
