"My review is mixed for our stay at the property. We were locked out of our room after the front desk staff had left for the evening. The emergency number did not work. We ended up having to drive back to town to find another hotel for the night with our luggage still locked in our room. The morning staff member was amazing though and because of how we were treated by her, we would consider another stay. The grounds and our room were beautiful, it was unfortunate we couldn’t get into our room....

"It’s such a lovely hotel in a good location! The staff is incredible! They are so polite, welcoming, and top notch customer service! However, I saw two rats in the coffee shop downstairs near the lobby! "

"This was our second time staying at the Sylvia. It’s definitely older and not as fancy but it has a lot of charm, the staff is amazing and the location is unbeatable especially for the price! Would definitely recommend! "
