"We do our best to come out every year aroubd March when the island tensa to be tranquil and realxed. Melissa is a fantastic host, and goes above and beyond to be sure the stay is comfortable, and peaceful. She is the biggest part that keeps the resort going, and we're truly greatful for her kindness. The cabins are cozy, warm and draw you in. "We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely."

"We had an amazing stay at Calmwaters! Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the space was impeccably clean and comfortable. We especially loved the nearby walking trail and the convenient beach access just across the street. It was wonderful to see natural, locally made soaps and cleaners being used and refilled. We’d happily return anytime!"

"Beautiful. A few small oddities, like the water either being hot or having pressure, but not both. BUT, the price compared to others in the area is great and more than excuses such silly little things. The included basic breakfast supplies were a small but very welcome touch as well. I hope you like seals because you'll see them all the time!"

"Loved staying at this beautiful house tucked into the rain forest , over looking the inlet with no obstruction! Eagles landing on the trees in front of us while we relaxed in the wonderful hot tub on the deck! The hosts were so hospitable. We came into a clean, beautiful warm home with a personalized card just for our family. They communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed and a contact number to call for anything! The house is absolutely stunning! Thank you !!!"

"This was our first time at this hotel, we truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon. The drive up from Seattle was easy to get there in 3 hours. The front desk agent was very friendly and upgraded our room to the East Tower with the most amazing lakefront view. Parking is in the back of the building and is free with your stay at the hotel. The hot spring pools were hot and amazing. My favorite one was the indoor circle hot tub. The minerals really helped heal my skin. I also appreciated the adults only pool away from the kid friendly pools. We ate dinner at the island bar on the main floor of the hotel because the restaurant upstairs was closed that evening. Had the beef burger on the potato bun and it was absolutely delicious! Best burger and fries I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this hotel. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience at this hotel. The location of this hotel has safe and walkable streets to nearby shops, restaurants and to the beachfront lake. The hot spring pools alone make this trip worth the stay. Already planning to book my next stay at this hotel. If you want the most amazing view, the cost in the East Tower is worth every penny! "
