"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house is in a wonderful location and is well maintained. The only area for improvement would be to send someone right away to fix the dishwasher, as the racks fell out when loading and unloading. Pretty hard on the nerves. I contacted the owner on Wednesday. We were there from Tuesday to Friday and were told no-one could come to look at it until the weekend."

"This property is such a gem. We had a wonderful stay. It is close enough to downtown Sooke (for groceries, etc.) but feels secluded at the same time. The cottage shared a property with two other cottages, but that did not affect our stay at all. It was also extremely dog friendly. We would definitely return!"

"We were very happy with the location of the cabin and the cabin itself. The main cabin is large enough to house a large bed and one small bed that our 6 year old slept on. It had a cozy kitchen with sink, an electric cookstove, fridge, and lots of spices, oil, and supplies for cooking. There were hooks to hang up bags to keep organized because there's not a lot of room for clutter to get on the floor and comfortably move around. The cabana was also an awesome living room area to spread out...

"The property is very well kept and we weren't disappointed. Kristi the property manager went out of her way to assist, during a weather related power outage our first 24 hours. She helped with an endless supply of wood to use in the woodstove and recommended local dining establishments that we enjoyed. This was a perfect home base to explore many of the hiking trails in the area. There were many seating areas to enjoy the setting sun and watch the sea lions and eagles. We loved it so much...
