"My husband and daughter and I stayed here when she participated in the Golden Ultra which had stages both in Golden and at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. It was a very convenient location. The kitchen was well set up for cooking and we enjoyed relaxing in the great room between events. The bathrooms have been recently updated and the finishings make it seem like home. We would definitely come again."

Great location very close to the ski lodge. Very picturesque view from every window as well as the hot tub on the deck. We all highly recommend this place for your next getaway!!"

"My husband and I enjoyed the homey and well thought out decor of the Marten’s Nest.This location was very accessible for those who are wary of icy stairs and within 5 min walking distance to the Alpine Lodge.The owners were very sweet and responsive. "Gregg and Lisa are extremely kind and helpful. Very responsive to my questions. The chalet is spacious and cozy with a fantastic view. We could observe a sunrise if the weather allowed. The big kitchen easily accommodates our 2 families - 4 adults and 3 teens. As our kids are beginners (one never skied before), we didn't let them ski in ski out. Even so, driving them to and from the lesson meeting place was within 2-3 minutes. Very convenient. We will definitely come back when we visit Apex...

"This place was absolutely perfect for our family trip. We came with kids, adults, grandparents and furry friends and there was plenty of room for all of us.The cabin was clean, cozy, so spacious and had every item we needed during our stay. The games room was a huge hit! We enjoyed our morning coffee on a beautiful deck with a stunning view even in the winter months.
