"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I can't agree with many of the criticisms other reviewers had -- there were always 2-3 staff on hand to help, the tv always worked, the room was in good condition. Yes, it's worn around the edges but they work hard to keep everything clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There is street noise but nothing that gave us trouble. "The staff are very friendly! We loved hanging out in the little outdoor patio area. It was also walking distance from the beach, a bunch of restaurants, and a 24 hour pharmacy. We had everything we needed ! The room itself was small and pretty dark, but it was clean and the beds were comfy enough. "

"The Wave Hotel was well located - easy walk to the beach and La plazita. Short cab ride to T-Mobile district, Walmart and Old San Juan. The customer service and housekeeping was second to none. Only minor issues include the hot tube was not working, towels were quite old and thin and the pillows should be replaced. Otherwise a great experience. Will rebook when I revisit Puerto Rico. "
