"The staff were very friendly and helpful, good food selection at the buffet, nice selection of pools and everything is within walking distance. Very convenient to get around the resort with shuttles and meet up points all over. Bottled water available, and a mini fridge that is restocked daily to make things even more comfortable."

"Absolutely loved this resort. Blew my expectations away! The beach, the pools, the spa and sauna, the room, even the lobby. Catalonia is connected to Mayan Adventures, which we used to book a Mayan tour and private snorkeling expeditions that were amazing and off the beaten paths open to the public. The resort has 7 restaurants, all are all-inclusive. A couple of them were only so-so, but others were fantastic. The best of the 7 (B'loved) is only available to the "Privileged" / purple tier. This alone makes the package worth the upgrade. Best food and service on the resort. Alejando took care of us all week and was an absolute rockstar. Can't wait until next year!! "

"I took my bachelorette trip here in April 2025. The resort is lovely and overall so gorgeous. Our rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. I’ve never stayed somewhere with nicer staff, they really made the trip special. Oscar at the lobby bar makes the best espresso martinis and margaritas. He was also so fun and attentive. Betuel and Isaías the bellhops gave us a special tour around the resort to show us everything so we wouldn’t have to walk. The food was pretty good, we especially loved the Italian restaurant La Luce, the prosciutto pizza was incredible. The ribeye tacos at SeaSalt were also great! The staff never forgot to ask us about food allergies and really remembered who was allergic to what. They also had quite a few vegan options at every eatery. Vela sur was a great way to start our day with Oceanside breakfast. Overall, the resort experience was lovely, we really enjoyed it all, from the rooms to the pools, but what made this trip special were the resort employees. There are too many to name, thank you to all the employees for making this an unforgettable trip!"
