"Food was good taste, and a lot of choice. The beach is beautiful, shallow, no waves. Big , nice pool with hydromassage installations. Staff constantly washed windows, glass doors, floors, sidewalks. I had to call the front desk not once to get missing towels, water bottles or something else, and all the problems were solved in a matter of minutes. The staff were polite, and patient . Planning to be there again. "

"Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal is our go to resort when traveling to mexico. We have stayed at this resort since 2012. The staff is amazing and friendly. The specialty restaurants are excellent. Any problems that are experienced, if any, are corrected immediately. There are only two areas of disappointment that we have observed during our last 4 visits: 1- the entertainment has diminished and 2- The number of transportation shuttles is less and they seem to run less often. In the past, there were always nightly shows in the lobby bars at each resort during the evenings (7P-10P). Otherwise, we are extremely happy with our vacations when staying at Bahia Principe. "

"We just got back from spending 9 glorious days and 8 nights at this resort. It was our first AI resort experience. We were not left disappointed. We initially reserved our honeymoon room being privileged guests which gives you more perks at the resort but while there we upgraded to exclusive members and we’re so happy we did. The service from the staff at this resort is top notch! We are looking forward to coming back and hopefully seeing familiar faces. Karla, you went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and our special celebrations were truly made special. They are lucky to have you with their excellent team. Xavier, you were so kind and patient and helpful. Thank you. Nestor, always greeted us with a smile and made sure we were happy. His smile and happy demeanor is contagious. Meyrli out on the beach, serving us cocktails, and juices always made sure we were left without wanting. She was so attentive. Andreas, the bartender at BLoved was so great. As with the others, he always greeted with a smile, and made sure we were ok. One evening, we came down for our romantic dinner, which wasn’t ready due to rain, he saw I was upset, he rushed over to my husband and I with our drinks that we had been ordering. He knew what we liked, and what we needed. That kind of care and attention is priceless. Food selection is amazing and delicious. Other than the lobster soup in the grill, that was gross and their seabass. Only complaint is the time waiting for order to be "
