"Dave's house is a no frills home in a perfect location. The listing pictures are accurate. The home needs some maintenance and should get rid of the carpet, but I can overlook that for the price and the area. It's only one home from the beach and you can hear the waves from the large patio. It is walking/biking distance to the pier, restaurants (Zabb Thai lunch special!), grocery store, donuts, coffee, etc. It's an easy bike ride to Huntington Beach. The area is pretty quiet. "This house is as described. The location is beautiful. The house is dated but it didn’t bother us as we expected it from past reviews. Kitchen could use some additional provisions. This was not an issue for us in October but the house does not have A/C. We would stay again but would shop knowing what to expect "

"This is the second time our family with 5 kids have stayed here. It’s close to the beach so can come and go with ease and it has pretty much everything you need. It’s definitely on our list of places to visit again."

"We loved the delightful accommodations at Rory and Tim's 2-story place. It was just steps from the beach in Newport ! All of the beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Our group loved the well-appointed kitchens and outside patio for breakfast! I am hoping to talk my extended family into renting this very fun place for a vacation experience together someday soon . . . "

"A lovely property. There was construction next door that was loud but we still enjoyed the view. I do think the rugs all need a deep cleaning inside the house. Over all though, I recommend this place for a family gathering. "
