"A large hotel in central Patong, Amata Patong is in a great location - close enough to the Bangla Road party and Patong Beach to be convenient while just far enough away to not be in the middle of the craziness. My room was on the north side of the hotel, a separate wing with its own elevator. This side of the hotel seemed a bit older. "The spa wasn’t open when we came which was the only downside. Other than that very close to the strip (10 min walk) but not too close so you can actually sleep at night. The lady who can book you excursions is very good (bear in mind that the companies are sometimes late due to traffic). All staff are accommodating and friendly. Special shoutout to security he always has a smile on his face and helped us cross very busy roads. An amazing man ! "
