"We’ve been to Bangkok’s Shangrila on many occasions. We keep returning because this beautiful property is located on the river and it’s such a great escape from Bangkok’s busyness. And going into town is so easy because the sky train station Saphan Taksin is next door. Spa is amazing! Food is amazing! And somehow their staff is even more amazing than before. They’re just so helpful with whatever you may need. This trip we did a private long tail boat tour on the Chaopraya River and they coordinated it all and had the boat pick us up at Shangrila’s pier. We also needed help with finding our 2 year old a babysitter. We informed them in advance they provided a fabulous nanny. Such a great experience per usual!!!"

"I had a great time here. There are lots of things in the near by area to check out. Especially at night. A lot of good restaraunts and cafes just a very short walk from the hotel. I would go back here again."

"This is a great spot to set as your home base and then go off with a Grab car or whatever. There is an excellent place to eat breakfast that is across the road and on the opposite corner of the block. We went there each day. This hotel is perfectly fine and ticks all the boxes. We didn’t spend much time there except for sleeping."

"The hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to get around using the BTS. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious."
