This resort is beautiful. You have many options for pools, with different vibes. The room sizes were great and the little touches were also great. The views from the pools are phenomenal and you get to see the sunset. I would highly recommend. It is close to freedom beach which is a great beach and it is a short cab journey into the town.

Absolutely beautiful property although it is on a very steep incline so it would be difficult or impossible to enjoy for anyone with mobility issues. There are buggy’s that can bring you around the property but there are still many stairs to climb once at your destination. Buggy’s we’re noisy at night. All 3 restaurants were completely sold out for the 3 days we were there so buffet was the only option as you are up in the mountains. Views are amazing.

Our stay at Avista Hideaway was absolutely gorgeous! The resort had stunning ocean views and breathtaking sunsets, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The check-in process was smooth and enjoyable—they welcomed us with refreshing lemonade tea and cool towels, which was a great touch after being out in the heat. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. A special surprise that made our stay even more memorable was the beautiful honeymoon room decoration—flowers, towel elephants, and thoughtful details that truly made us feel special. The location was also perfect—just 10 minutes from the night market, which made it super easy to go out in the evenings and return without hassle. We also appreciated the adult-only pool, which provided a peaceful and relaxing space to unwind. Overall, Avista Hideaway exceeded our expectations, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket!

Checkin and checkout process was terrible. Took our passports and then left for about an hour without an update, then came back and told us our room wasn't ready....why make us wait for an hour to tell us this, we could have been doing something much more enjoyable than sitting in the unairconditioned lobby. On check out they made us wait again to "check if we left anything in the room" but seemed more like they were checking for damages, I've never been at a hotel that made me wait while they checked if I forgot something. Overall, felt a severe lack of trust given the massive deposit that was needed to be left in addition to already having paid in full.

Loved every bit of our stay! The staff were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, it was a pleasant experience. The resort was very clean, modern, and well-maintained. We loved the buffet breakfast. It was in a great location, close enough to the action of Patong, yet it felt quiet and secluded. We highly recommend this resort!

Absolutely amazing
We stayed here for our first time in Phuket and it was absolutely amazing. We loved it! They upgraded us to their private pool room and we couldn’t fault it at all, it was magical. Eve was very nice and welcoming when we checked in and all the staff were very accommodating and always making sure we were ok. One of the best hotels definitely recommend it.
