Hot water in bathroom hot for a while, cold for a while, very unpredictable and made showering not pleasant at all, and this happens in all the shower room in the unit I stayed in. Many bugs in the room, most of it dead, looks like house keeping didn't see underneath the sofa chairs. "Perfect Family Getaway at AYA Niseko ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of four, including two energetic kids (9 and 6), had an amazing stay at AYA Niseko during the low season. While many places in the surrounding area were closed, we actually loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It gave us a chance to fully enjoy the tranquility of the area and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. We spent a lot of time walking and hiking up the mountains, which was a fun and adventurous way to keep the kids...

"The 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious, well equipped and clean. Also love the public onsen and easy access to the ski trails. The only thing to complain is the limited selection of food and grocery supplies near the hotel (no convenience stores and lack of dinner choices except hotel restaurant which is just average or 30 minutes drive to Otaru city). But overall still a good bargain at low season. Not sure about prices in high ski season though."

"The chalet is very spacious, bright, well maintained and fully equipped like a real home. All the utensil and cutlery in the kitchen are in very good condition. The beds are quite comfortable. There is only one thing I was not satisfied is there is no blackout curtains. Only blinds that block view but not light were installed. The sun rises near 4am in summer. I am a light sleeper and I would be awakened whenever the room began to turn brighter and ended up with insufficient sleep."

"This hotel has a very good location - it’s a ~10-15min walk to the closest ski lift and plenty of restaurants, food trucks, and convenience stores nearby. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They are english speaking which made the whole experience much easier. They provided us with recommendations of the area and also helped us coordinate the ski lift passes beforehand, so we were able to receive it upon check-in. They also helped us book the shuttle to the airport for our check out day...
