"The reception staff were great, very helpful and very kind. The activities & excursions staff that we used to rent a moped were unorganised, we paid a 5,000 Baht deposit instead of our passports. They lost the booking slip as well as the 5,000 Baht we paid, we eventually did get the 5,000 Baht back but it took well over an hour, they still hadn’t found the slip at this point, so if we would’ve used our passports as a deposit, the passports would have been lost. Great job to the staff that kindly...

"What a great stay at The Hive. This is a wonderful boutique style hotel near the water with easy access to town. Rooms are bungalow style with AC. Super clean with great staff all around. Lots of chairs around to pool so no need to get up at 6 to throw a towel on a chair. Breakfast is great and lots of coffee options. Ive already recommended to friends and family who are now booked for March."

"Ace location, a easy walk anywhere in Chaweng. The property is split between bungalows and a new Annex building, there's a swimming pool and restaurant right at the beach. We booked a deluxe room and stayed in the Annex building. The room was spacious and could easily fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. They also gave us daily bottles of water and it was very clean. Unfortunately, although our room had a balcony, it was facing the apartments in the building next door. "

"Very good location - right in the middle of chaweng (a two minute walk to quality bars/restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc), and at the same time located on the beach - can easily walk barefoot onto the middle of chaweng beach. My room was fifteen metres from the sand. Good value for money. The real downside, the compromise, is that it’s not the best in terms of fixtures and fittings, decoration and cleanliness, and the surrounding site is in parts detelict. But they do seem to be working...
