"A little off the beaten path, we chose the Baantai Cluster for the size of the rooms. Interesting layout but not in the best of shape. 2 blocks away from the beach and next to the waterpark. "I stayed with coconutspalm resort over the New Years period and I’ve got to say it was just over average. It’s overpriced for what it is and you have to spend quite a bit of money on taxis to and from Lamai beach, so your best bet is to rent a scooter. I will say that the manager Fred is very good at his job and he did everything to sort any problems out we may of had. He even offered us a free upgrade. "Watch before booking, shop arond you can get better value for your money near the beach. Quiet location is the only good thing, but not convenient to the beach or to town. Bungalows are not nice. Fellow travellers, watch the water when you shower, its dark and murky in our room. Be careful when taking a shower."
