"The room was nice and clean. The full bed was 2 twins pushed together on a large platform that was not level. I needed to sleep with my head at the foot end of the bed. The TV was not working. The clerk said the cable TV was out on the entire block. I had no TV during the entire day and night. The air conditioning did not get cold. I cleaned the filters myself and there was improvement. "This place honestly has become my home away from home. I'm not much the touristy type, and my job allows me to telework. This is the perfect place, especially for the price, to have a wonderful vacation, or even have one of those Branson-esque periods of just living on a beautiful tropical island. "I stayed with coconutspalm resort over the New Years period and I’ve got to say it was just over average. It’s overpriced for what it is and you have to spend quite a bit of money on taxis to and from Lamai beach, so your best bet is to rent a scooter. I will say that the manager Fred is very good at his job and he did everything to sort any problems out we may of had. He even offered us a free upgrade.
