One thing the hotel would benefit from is a water bottle refil system in a public area. "

"The location was not so good for us as there was a nightclub nearby that didn't have soundproofing as we could hear the music and singing until it finished which happened to be between 2am - 3am, especially as they would choose the last song to encourage their clientele to sing along. Even though we kept the window closed we were still kept awake with the sound. We chose the hotel for the convenience of the location in relation to the railway station and the bridge over to the Brewery Wharf...

"See below list of issues: Damaged & dirty furniture in the bedroom. Mattress needed replacing. Bathroom - dated shower, toilet not flushing, extractor dirty and damaged. Emergency signage, non existent. The hotel reception over charged us with no apology, they took our credit card away from reception and ~I demand they haver to return with it. "

"Nothing terribly unique. But it was withing decent walking distance of York city center and all the attractions, shopping, and food that goes with that. The breakfast was also incredible. Really excellent. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt quite upscale. "

"We had a deluxe room which was huge. Superking bed,refurbished bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. For the price and location, we thought it was excellent value. "

"Food good, room nice but shower was rubbish. Very low flow of water and not too hot. Corridor doors make a noise when closing so get woken up early "
