We had a lovely comfortable stay. We did have to clean the bathroom a little as few hairs on the bath and toilet had brown water in the bottom but apart from that it was lovely. We had robes in the wardrobes, toiletries and plenty of towels. The coffee pod machine is a nice touch. Overall hotel was clean as you could be for its size ! We really enjoyed our stay thank you

Couldn't fault the hotel, considering the building is 150 years old it was in great condition, very well looked after, everywhere was clean and tidy. It was -1 outside but the whole hotel was lovely and warm, very relaxing. The staff were all nice and very helpful, the food and the dining room were great. The only thing that let it down was the parking outside, not enough spaces.

The building seems well maintained, reception area clean and tidy. Staff polite and helpful. A little confusing trying to find the room but once found was happy with it. Freshly decorated and new carpets. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room was just right. All in all a very nice couple of days. The only downfall was trying to get a drink at the bar on the first night (Friday) There were only 2 staff on and a very long queue, it took me 35 mins to be served.
