"The annexe was beautifully clean - carpet in the main area rather than the hard flooring that many properties have these days - (although I understand why as it's probably easier to clean than carpet) however, that made it very cosy & so warm. Everything was lovely, I can't think of anything that was missing, the attention to detail was 1st class. "Great place for us as a place to sleep. We wanted to be near Fountains Abbey. The breakfast was amazing, we didn't eat on an evening so don't know about that. The building needs a little TLC, the door to our veranda was difficult to lock, the stairwell smelt a little fusty and there are no plug sockets near the bed. The bed was comfy though and the room basic but acceptable. Overall, a nice stay."
