"Furniture was falling apart (dining chair) and broke upon sitting down. Was wobbly and could tell it was repaired using a nail that wasn’t meant for that chair. Communication was horrible, check in was a disaster, nobody knew what was going on and couldn’t find our booking. The property itself was beautiful, pools were nice , although not kept up with cleaning, especially the one nearest to the beach. Tons of dirt and dead bugs in the pool. "First floor bath not working, wifi not working, dryer broke, wifi fixed and broke again, door jamb broken and locked my son in room, other issues. In short, had to call a very courteous and responsive maintenance staff far too much for price paid for unit. Otherwise it would have been a perfect vacation. "

"The house was pretty and spacious. Overall, it could have used minor upkeep through the property. The exterior cushions had no padding anymore and the table outside was almost collapsed. Most concerning was the rope on the stairway was dislodged from the first tread, and where the second floating tred attached to the wall it was actually loose and swayed when you stepped on it. "Loved how walkable it was to get to restaurants and we had great services. This was a girls trip and we truly had a great time. The house is very welcoming and the beach is second to none."

"I booked this place for my bachelorette trip for our group of 14 and it was absolutely amazing!!! The listing doesn’t mention this but there’s someone guarding the community (at least during the day) which was a nice surprise! We had asked Mari if there were any disposable cups and she said no but went out and got them for us, she also did a few pieces of laundry for us for a small fee. It was great to have her and Jose near the property. She doesn’t speak English but we had a Spanish speaker...

"Had a wonderful stay at casa Blanca. House was clean, plenty of space with separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Location to beach is phenomenal- it’s not directly on beach but a 30 yard walk to the beach. It was great being able to go from the house to beach throughout the day and not have it be a project to do so. Pool in the yard is also a big bonus. It’s almost better to be just off the beach as there is.more privacy and quiet (beach is public). 10 minute walk to Playacar outdoor mall...

"Lovely location. Wonderful pool. Check in process was easy. Seth and Sibley were easy to communicate with and responsive to any question or concern. Quite spacious and clean. The large open doors on the deck helped to cool the place down. But did get a little damp on wetter days with the ocean spray getting blown in. Even on those days with the deck doors closed, the ceiling fans kept the place cool. Would stay again. "

"Listing was a scam. Charged my credit card and sent us confirmation then the checkin email. Checkin email had no information. Have not been refunded. Never had this happen with VRBO before. Had to book another hotel in the plane to Mexico!"

"We had a wonderful stay in paradise. The Pictures don’t give it justice. From Stafan, to his staff we felt like kings and queens. I definitely recommend hiring chef Ramiro, he is amazing! We felt very safe and comfortable in the community. Lots do there from shopping, tons of restaurants and you can swim with dolphins! I highly recommend getting a golf cart or two depending on how many in your group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!"

"I stayed here on a solo vacation last week. It was a great place, walkable to all the fun things in playa. The staff was amazing, the place was clean, and the room itself was great I would say the beach in that area of Playa del Carmen was not really swimable due to the rocks and boats. However the beaches near by offered more swim able areas. I’d totally stay here again. "

"The hotel rooms are clean , average accommodation , the pool is nothing special but we didn’t go to swim in the pool we went for the beach and it’s right out our room and awesome . Service was great at the beach club and hotel ,The hotel is close to everything you need . If your looking for good place to hangout at the beach this is it. I would use this hotel again . "

"Once we arrived at the airport. There was someone there from the hotel waiting. The check in process was seemless. The staff there was super friendly. The place was amazing and has so many delicious food options. I will definitely be going back and I created so many great memories here "

Catalonia Royal Tulum Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Absolutely loved this resort. Blew my expectations away! The beach, the pools, the spa and sauna, the room, even the lobby. Catalonia is connected to Mayan Adventures, which we used to book a Mayan tour and private snorkeling expeditions that were amazing and off the beaten paths open to the public. The resort has 7 restaurants, all are all-inclusive. A couple of them were only so-so, but others were fantastic. The best of the 7 (B'loved) is only available to the "Privileged" / purple tier. This alone makes the package worth the upgrade. Best food and service on the resort. Alejando took care of us all week and was an absolute rockstar. Can't wait until next year!! "
